  1.                Extra Heartbeat (Premature or Skipped Beat)
  2. SYMPTOMS. A sensation that may seem like a fluttering in the chest or the
  3. feeling of a skipped or extra heartbeat. There will be no pain.
  4. CAUSES. It is usually brought on by fatigue, smoking, tension, coffee or tea
  5. but it can be caused by heart disease or excessive thyroid function.
  6. TREATMENT. It may be necessary to treat a heart or thyroid problem.
